Rebeca Gomez is the Clinical Director and Fellow of the College of Podiatry of Podiatric Surgery- FCPodS, DPodM, PGDip (Biomechanics & Orthotics), PGDip (Sports Medicine & Electrotherapy), PGDip (Biomechanics & Orthotics, PGDip (Podopaediatrics).

Ms Gomez  and her team offer hi-tech, quality general and specialised podiatric services within a friendly and comfortable environment.

Ms Gomez is  registered with the HCPC. She is a graduate in Podiatric Medicine (Durham and Sunderland University). Ms Gomez has become and expert of the podiatric field having undergone extensive postgraduate education in Scotland (Queen Mary and Glagow Caledonian Universities) as well as in Barcelona, Spain (Barcelona's Autonoma University and Bages University Foundation).

 

Since 2015 Ms Gomez has been a guest lecturer at the University of Brighton. Her work in both the National Health Service and The Abbey Clinic, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre has given her extensive experience to assess and treat musculoskeletal and podopaediatric conditions, Perform surgery and treat complex cases to include the high-risk foot which may present with active foot disease.

 

Sarah-Jane Leathes is a Specialist Podiatrist BSc (Hons)

Ms Leathes is a registered HCPC Podiatrist, a graduate from the University of Brighton. Her work in both the National Health Service and private practice has given her extensive experience of musculoskeletal, nail surgery, high-risk and general podiatry. In her spare time, she has volunteered for London and Brighton marathon podiatric services.

 

Bridget Burleigh is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Bridget graduated from the University of East London in 1998 and went on to gain her masters in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation.  She has worked in the NHS, private health sector and for professional sports teams as a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist. 

 

Bridget has a special interest in rehabilitation after injury, be it from a recent fall, surgery or returning to full activity at any level. She has a keen clinical interest in Spinal and Lower Limb injuries, sporting problems, injury prevention and movement screening. 

 

Her experience in Sports has involved working at Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Olympic Games London 2012 with Taekwondo and Fencing and the European Championships Azerbaijan 2014. She currently works with elite athletes and is part of the medical team for England Hockey and British Judo.

 

Away from work, Bridget believes in the benefits of an active lifestyle as part of promoting optimal health and well-being. She is frequently seen running through the parks, playing squash, kitesurfing, practicing Pilates and Tai chi in her spare time.
